The cornerstone of Juri's fighting style has always been her Fuhajin special move - a maneuver that sees her perform an upwards kick and store fireballs that can be released later, as well as other follow up attacks. Her victory animation sees her pull out a phone (that has a case that resembles her hair) and laugh as she scrolls through her feed. Juri also seems to have an affinity for social media and disconnecting from the world by spending time on her smartphone.

Her massive popularity has secured her a spot in the two main entries that followed, as well as crossover titles such as Street Fighter X Tekken.Ĭapcom has made a conscious effort to create a new look for Juri that recaptures the essence of her original beloved design. The sadistic world warrior first made a Street Fighter appearance on Apin Super Street Fighter 4, the second installment in the Street Fighter 4 series. Her gameplay reveal trailer was unveiled alongside newcomer Kimberly's during the Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition finals at Evo 2022.
Juri was revealed to be a playable character in Street Fighter 6 on August 7, 2022.
